Welcome to Bodmin Heritage Diesels

(Best viewing format 1280 x 768)

The Heritage Diesel Locomotive's based at the Bodmin and Wenford railway are cared for by a small dedicated group of volunteers. Our aim is to preserve, maintain and operate the ex British Railways locomotives that regularly worked in Cornwall or the South West.

Why not visit us and have a day out on the Cornish gradients, which average 1:40 for several miles on both of our branch lines.

Enjoy the sight and sound as our loco's work hard climbing back from the Fowey or Camel river valleys to our headquarters at Bodmin General station.
